About Jhilmil Labs

Jhilmil Labs makes small, useful apps for everyday life. Each one does one job, says what it needs and what it does not do before you start, and is easy to try: several are free, and paid ones are a single payment with no subscription.

What we make

• Jhilmil Stories: Hindi bedtime stories with pictures, for parents to read aloud to children aged 3 to 6. Android, in testing.
• Buddy: your own AI assistant on WhatsApp or Telegram. It runs on the Mac or Windows computer you already have and uses free AI models.
• iLoveAudioVideo: free audio and video tools that run in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.
• Step Guide: a free Chrome extension that shows you where to click, step by step, on websites.
• under5dollars.com: small tools, every one under $5, including CCPrune and Usage HUD for Claude Code.

How we work

• Where we can, your data stays with you: iLoveAudioVideo works on your own device, Buddy runs on your own computer, and Step Guide sends nothing anywhere.
• Paid products are one payment, not a subscription. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record.
• If something does not work for you, write to the product's address and we help you get it working.
